Neighbors of the house of Evelyn DeLeon in Trenton, New Jersey, called police early Wednesday morning. The neighbors claimed that they heard a woman screaming for help continuously. The neighbors were worried because the voice kept calling over and over “Help Me, Help Me”. Fearing that something was seriously wrong after not receiving a response when knocking on the door, the officers broke down the door to rescue the crying victim.

Luna the bird that cried wolf

But instead of finding someone in distress, the new jersey police found Luna, a caged cockatoo. Luna has not only cried wolf once, but has also imitated a baby crying in the past, which also brought authorities. About 7 years ago, the bird cried like a baby for hours, leading to reports of a possible abandoned baby and a visit to the home by state child welfare workers. But it was only Luna practicing a new sound that she learned from watching television.
